Community Offering: Mindfulness Journalling – A Free 3 Hour Workshop Experience the mind/body connection and deeper insights into your life through contemplative writing. Tuesday 26th August Meet at Vespa in Penestanan, Ubud at 9:00 am Limited spaces, so RSVP essential As a preview for a series of workshops I will be running in Melbourne, I am offering a free 3 hour workshop in Ubud next week for a small group. This is a community offering that may suit you if you are already in a contemplative journaling practice or if you feel compelled to write about your inner world. I have been practicing mindfulness journaling as a means to support myself through a 25 year long chronic pain condition. In this time I have found the very real experience of the mind/body connection and the energetic releases that writing the daily moments (and going beneath them) can offer. The insights that come from taking this time have been my key support, as well as a vital and grounding tonic to the increasingly distracting culture of rapid mass information. As a part of a personal investigation into mindfulness journaling and inner transformation, I am offering this introduction for free as a part of my research into how best to convey these exercises to others. It will be held at a private home in the rice fields near Penestanan, therefore space is limited to 8 people. We’ll meet at Vespa in Penestanan at 9am and walk in together. We’ll be back at Vespa by 1:15pm. Bring snacks and drinks and your writing implements. If you’re using a computer, please have it charged fully.
