Companionship. Love. Friendship. Either way the most tragic and horrifying pain is the loss of another. It may be something as final as the death of a loved one, whether friend or family. It can also occur from the tragic separation of a marriage. The loss of a person who provided security, friendship, companionship, trust, love, and even physical closeness... now they are missing. Many times you have the loss of times spent with children as well. The combination of these two is unbearable. This pain can equally occur with loss of a girlfriend as well. One who you trust to love you and maybe become that person you will lean on for life. Now, sometimes by choice, they are gone or giving that role to someone else. Reading through FB posts often I have seen so so much pain and suffering. It is everywhere. It is overwhelming. I am sorry to all of you who deal with me regularly. I have had many comments on my recent posts being a little down in the dumps. You caught me. I am. I selfishly posted these things as at times loneliness drives you just to say something. I promise I dont do it nearly as often as I feel it. I am sorry to those of you who have shared your struggles with me. I wish peace on you all. There is no greater pain than to desire with all your heart to have a relationship back with someone who is gone or just doesnt want it. It hurts so bad. The one thing I remind myself of many times a day is that it can always get worse and to be thankful for what you have left, because in a heartbeat that could go away too. That realization and even my belief in God does not dull the pains I feel or the tears I cry... This is as it may be for many of you too. I wish with all my heart that all the pain I read about from my friends could be fixed! I wish all our hearts could be mended... We deserve it. It breaks my heart to know how many of you are hurting... Hurting all in our own ways. I love you all, those I know a lot and those that I know very little. Noah Baker
