Editors comment: Egyptian researchers found that rheumatoid arthritis patients who were also diagnosed with fibromyalgia had significantly lower levels of vitamin D than RA patients who did not have FM. There was also a significant correlation between vitamin D levels and quality of life. Those who had low vitamin D levels also had a poorer quality of life.
