Comparto algunas de las razones por las cuales yo amo este trabajo- ministerio/ Sharing some of the reasons why I love this ministry work!! What has the HSP meant to you? It has been a great experience! My class and professor were extraordinary. It has been an opportunity for growth and chance to interact with another Latinos in a place of acceptance. HSP has introduced me to a new way of thinking and has provided a great experience. It has meant an extraordinary opportunity to learn theology from different perspective of Latinos and Latinas. And different experiences of life. A very illuminating experienced and growing experience too. Is a time for enrich my ministry and educate myself in a space that is more relaxed and in engagement with my Latino context. I love it! It was a great leaning opportunity & I have learned useful tools that I will be taking back with me. This has been a phenomenal experience for me. To be in worship, study, and dialogue with Hispanic/Latinos is an invaluable experience especially as a non-latino desiring to work with Hispanics. I will leave this experience with a deeper understanding of Hispanic/Latinos theology with networking contact that will last a lifetime. Caminar con mi gente, teologar en mi idioma. It was an opportunity to do theology from my own cultural eyes. Being able to feel part of a big group of Hispanic/Latino classmates and faculties which is something that it doesn’t happen in my seminary reality. Blessings, empowerment, integration. Unity Fue una experiencia muy grata y enriquecedora, en especial poder compartir temas de reflexión con hispanos. The passion that HSP staff has impacted me a lot. The quality of teaching is amazing. Also, that long time friendship is unforgettable. A great deal. A great experience to interact with other Hispanic/Latino Academia. Well, a segregate, oppressed community seeks its liberation through theological, sociological, liturgical, exegetical means. It has shown me the different demographic Christian ways to addresses issues. Tks. It’s given me great affirmation as a Latino in Divinity School. It has opened me into a community of individuals doing like-minded work. Posted resources and networking connections. My class was amazing! Teologia Hispana en EEUU. A place of familiriarity & safety whre I can talk theology from my place. The community and relationship has been most powerful. I’ve never really had Puerto Rican friends. Now I do. It surprise my expectations due to the community that I’ve gained within these past two weeks. It’s oriented me toward my future academic goals. I can day that this experience mark a starting point for me that will transcend for years to come. I ‘v been blessed! This has been an empowering experience. I have done all of my education in the states and therefore not privileged to study in my native language. To have this opportunity to share among people like me is priceless! An opportunity to share with other Hispanic students our realities. Un ____ realmente Ecumenico. An honor to attend and participate in such a rich heritage and amazing culture. Woodened knowledge, more contacts It has been a life changing experience. I have a larger appreciation for my church and culture. I am so happy that I was accepted into the HSP. This has been both a rich and transformative experience. It was a place to be open to express in both languages without fear of what others might say or think. A great organization that is taking care of the Hispanic. It was a community where I felt beloved. I felt empowered by the faculty, music and relationships. It was such a gift and I am grateful to had come here. A space of refresh and fellowship with other Latino/a compañeros. Critical thinking with other like me that was great! Too much to say here. HSP has help me to reclaimed who I am with pride. Encouragement and empowerment, Diversity. Is the way to do networking and connections. I had opened my eyes and my heart. I am anglo and came because I like Hispanics. What I learned breaks my heart. It gives me a new starting point for ministry as well as a cause. A lot, it was a blessing in numerous of ways. It helped with getting a class needed for school. It was a way to have some time for myself, a way of meeting new people. A new way of learning, etc.! A deeper respect for our differences. It has been a broadening experience to hear the stories of persons who are not too far removed from real family experiences of imigrati9n to the US-by sea and land. Such horrifies hardships are un humanly endured over time and even now-Prof. Alicia Marill’s keen awareness, sensitivity listening skills and gift she shared to our great benefits. The HSP has been life changing. The course material and instruction were excellent and presented in a meaningful way. I will be able to use what I learned here in my ministry. It has been a transformational experience. The faculty& administration did an excellent job. This was a wonderful venue to meet other Latino/as/Non-Latino/as and learn from their theological , cultural, political, and religious views. I ‘m very grateful for this possibility/reality because I would not have it in other places. That I can acknowledge and honor who I am as a Latino in my theological formation. This experienced has meant that I have profoundly changed who I am in the academy. Everything! It has been the best experience I have had in all of my collegiate education. I have build relationships with amazing people I hope to have for the rest of my life. I finally felt whole among like mind intellectuals. -This has been a life changing experience for me. I have met new dear colleagues& friends, mentors, and fallen in love with God all over again. It was really well organized. My professor if the (Guadalupe class) most organizing scholar! This was best class I‘ve taken. I love being around the other Latin@s –unbelievable. And the fact that that experienced is so subsidized made it possible for me to attend. I am grateful! Good balance of down time & activities/class time.
