Compassion Request: This stray dog was given protection and care by a low-income woman in the 1st Ward. She can barely feed herself. She named the dog Juma and let her stay while she nursed her newborn pups. The puppies are all in foster homes now and the woman has grown attached to Juma. The problem is that Juma is tethered on a chain because the woman lives a feet hundred feet away from a rail road track.
