This anxiety is as a result of the planned/ proposed National mass peaceful Protest which we resolved to take into action from Monday 7th, July 2014 when you are expected to arrive abuja while protest/ occupation starts on tuesday 8th July 2014. However, it should be noted that our proposed plan to plunge and initiate a peaceful lethal protest was placed on our Agenda when the Federal Government failed to send its delegation in person of Supervising Minister of Education, Barr Nyesom Wike , Emeka Wogu Labor minsiter or a representative to the meeting which was supposed to contain the Senate Committee on Education, NLC and Majority of Stakeholders aimed to resolved the lingring strike by both Asup/ Coeasu that was twice postponed and rescheduled as Nyesom Wike was in Absential. Therefore, it is to this frustration that I as the honourable Comrade Senate President of the National Association of Polytechnic Students [NAPs] use my Legal and Constitutional Office to give the FG 72hours ultimatum to find a lasting and rigid solution to the lingering ASUP STRIKE and endeavor to reach an amiable Agreement with the Union. Else, well come forth en masse into the Federal Ministry of Education and the ASO ROCK VILLA where well stage our peaceful protest to the President and remain on the street until we know our fate as a Polytechnic/ Colleges of education Student. It is to this note that I implore all Federal Polytechnic/ Colleges of Education SUG PRESIDENTS in the above mention regions and other neighbouring institutions in solidarity that is willing to support to make Available their various SUG BUSES and Fuel them as All finances must be culled from the UNION ACCOUNTS so that Many Polytechnic Students who wish to feature in this protest at Abuja will be opportune. thereby making such arrangement to show ALUTA and Solidarity of of our RIGHTS.
