#Comrade_or_Comeraid? It is because of clowns like Okpokwu and Agbese that I refuse to use the sobriguet Comrade. During Nelson Mandelas funeral, I watched how Jacob Zuma, Museveni, Jakaya Kikweto, Desmond Tutu et al were addressed as Comrades owing to the Anti-Apartheid Movement and the ANC. In my country, Nigeria, most of those who bear this title are fake people. Go to their universities, you can not find any record of them addressing any issue even within their classroom. Most of them are thugs who found themselves in the university through quota system, and having stayed and exhausted their residency on campus, they have now migrated to the larger society, moving from one politician to the other to constitute nuisance and sycophancy. During public protest like the #OCCUPYNigeria fuel subsidy rallies, they do not join the protests but collect money from goment as stooges and surrogates, goons and gongmen to physically attack their fellow aggrieved poor. They also organised a Press Conference in support of salary deduction in Benue. They are every where thugging and doing Political Alleluiah. In the student union, we used to declare such people as PERSONA NON GRATAS. We recently did that to Steven Awua of the AIT when we discovered he was sabotaging our mass protest in January 2012. Hubris. Hogwash. Simplicita!
