|||Concept of the day||| If there are two poles of heights x and y meters, standing opposite to each other and two wires are drawn from the top of each pole to the base of the other pole, and the point of intersection of two wires is at the height of z meters, then 1/z= (1/x+1/y). For example if there are 2 poles of height 20 and 30 meters and wires are drawn from the top of each pole to base of the other pole, then the point of intersection of the two wires can be calculated as (1/z= 1/10+1/20). So z = 6.66.
