Concerned parent says My nearly 3 year old has just been for an initial assessment for asd.. she has alot of the signs, to the point most are convinced she has.. only this peadtrician who we saw thinks she only has a speech delay and attachment issues to me (her mom) and thats it, case closed?! Im assuming that its because she is finally starting to come out of her shell, if you like, at nursery after months of trying.. But she still has sensory needs which havent been officially identified & i feel so frustrated and like its all in my head now.. Just dont know what to do now.. Maybe i should just accept it and move on?.. Advice/anyone had the same and went on to find out it more? im in the UK if it helps..
