Conflict, co-operation and competition constitute the behavioural - TopicsExpress

Conflict, co-operation and competition constitute the behavioural dimension of international relations. Together with the characteristics of the international system they provide the dynamics of world affairs that govern the use of the state in international relations. Yet the point must be made that the global environment is in perpetual flux, and it also involves a power game. The more powerful states use their economic, political and socio-cultural superiority to dominate the less powerful states and exploit their resources. This is very evident in the colonial plunder of Africa, and the neo-colonial manipulations of the African states by the western powers, even within ourselves!
