Conformism is one of the biggest crises prevailing in our times. As a conversation with an eloquent and equally rational friend of mine progressed into an intense brainstorming session of conflicting ideologies, we summed up the aforementioned statement towards the end. There comes a time in everyones lives when they are attracted to a particular ideology or thinking pattern. The problem arises when we start developing our lives modus operandi in and around a particular matrix and refuse to accept the change that comes our way. This whole idea of commitment is strewn with loopholes and pitfalls. Apply it to any damned ideology in the world and youll end up with the same results. Marxism prophesied the end of the state but Capitalism moulded itself according to the time and whos having the last laugh now? Vice versa, even the ardent admirers of Capitalism for that matter, fail to see what is it turning into. Same goes with Religious extremities. The incident that happened in Peshawar was not a mindless fanatical act. It was deeply political, even a child can figure that out. Due to that pain and suffering I restrained myself from putting up anything here. I needed some time to grieve and pay homage to the nascent dreams. But the question isnt that. The question lies where did it originate? The whole idea of identifying oneself with a particular thinking matrix and letting the idea seize us is the reason why 90% of the world is undergoing constant trauma. Were all thinking human beings. Our generation is too pre-occupied with committing to the existing ideas that new ones are struggling to come up and find their way. This is a difficult time. Only an open mind can guide us through this. Strong people are difficult to find. Let us be them. Let us make them. Let us raise them. Let us support them. Amen! #Dedicated to the lost souls and grieving families. We stand with you. We share your tears. We have the same identities- Humans. Let us not give anything a chance to depart from our one common identity. Peace!
