Congratulations Salem Division Troopers for Helping the Public Drive to Save Lives! Each year, DMV’s Virginia Highway Safety Office presents awards to the Virginia law enforcement agencies that either had the highest or most improved seat belt usage rate during the annual 2014 Click It or Ticket enforcement campaign. This year’s Click It or Ticket Most Improved Seat Belt Use Award goes to the Salem Division’s Area 39, as presented to F/Sgt. J.S. Kaplan by DMV Highway Safety Office Program Manager Steve Williams. Area 39 patrols Botetourt and Rockbridge counties. Area 41 earned the 2014 Click It or Ticket Highest Use Award, with F/Sgt. Michael L. Bailey accepting the special recognition on behalf of his troopers. Area 41 serves Bedford and Franklin counties.
