Congratulations to Cherbourg State School Year 4 student Lornetta Simpson and her family who received awards for Lornettas 100% School Attendance in term three. She is pictured with her grandmother Sandra Morgan. Lornetta’s whole class also received an award for school attendance over 90% for two terms in a row. Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss, Local Member for Wide Bay, and I also got to meet Year 1 students. It is great to see these students getting a start on a good education which leads to more opportunities in life.
