Congratulations to Rauf Aregbesola on his victory.... Congratulations to INEC for stepping up to the plate once more to show that we can now boast of having a truly independent electoral body, a situation that may push me into recommending that INEC be empowered by law to conduct local government elections throughout the federation.... Congratulations to the Osun State people for the voice of their vote, which appears to be a combination of the rejection of Sen. Iyiola Omisore and the acceptance of Rauf Aregbesola.... Congratulations specially and thank you most profoundly to President GEJ for promising that he will make elections a one man one vote affair and his succeeding resoundingly in achieving this very intractable problem.... Again, we see what change and progress leadership can bring to the table.... He should hold on to this tendency as we are seeing the most democratic President Nigeria has ever had.... All glory be to God almighty for granting Nigerians this opportunity to do what is best for us.... To Him be the ultimate thanks.... One would expect PDP to honourably accept the election results and let us all move forward, because anything else would amount to an insult on our sensibilities.... In the same vein, I would expect all of us to applaud the role of the military and resolve within and amongst ourselves to give them the moral support they need to help our democracy grow... Nigeria has never had it so good in elections.... A new dawn beckons....
