Congratulations to our most recent Air Assault qualified Soldiers, SPC Lacy and SPC Merced!!! Alright!! Assault School is 10 days of rigorous, fast paced training. Its known for being one of the most physically and mentally challenging badges. In order to attended air assault school a soldier must pass the Army PFT, perform a 12-mile ruck march under three hours, and navigate an obstacle course with rope climb successfully. Air Assault School qualifies soldiers to conduct airmobile and air assault helicopter operations, to include aircraft orientation, slingload operations, proper rappelling techniques and fast-rope techniques.
