Congratulations to the following Cactus Shadows students who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) by Sean Butcher, CSHS Chapter President and Kyle Kuo, CSHS Chapter Vice President: CSHS Class of 2014 – Alexandra Abbott, Dakota Carpenter, Madison Hayes, Reese Oakley, Antonio Paoletti, Grant Sears, Kaleigh Stafford, Rachel Thaxton and Scott Warren. CSHS Class of 2015 – Jamie Behymer, Monica Hamm, Brandon Hrapczak, Madeline Jahns, Rachel Lowe and Megan Woods. NTHS is the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. The minimum GPA is a 3.0. However, the national average is 3.50 - 3.75. Many schools will also look at credit hours completed, attendance, disciplinary records, and CTSO (Career & Technical Student Organizations) membership. CSHS offers the following Career-Technology Education programs for all students: AP Economics; Economics; Intro to Business; Digital Media 1/2 and 3/4; Finance 1/2 and 3/4; Marketing 1/2 and 3/4; and Business Technology .
