Construction on Mosaic 2.0 is coming along nicely, with around 15 per cent of the new stadium completed. In October the stadium construction built two more cranes on the site, bringing the total to four – the most cranes PCL has ever set up in Regina for a project. To date around 160,000 cubic metres of soil has been removed from the site, with excavation on the west side at approximately 11 meters below grade. There are around 115 construction workers currently working, and in total 815 piles have been installed with 7,600 cubic metres of concrete poured. The stadium should be substantially complete by August 2016, with the first Rider game in the new stadium to be played in June of 2017.
