Constructive Act #151 - TIME TO SHARE Ever so often, we take time to ask that you share our Facebook page with friends from all over the Nation and the World. Each time that we do this, we get new followers who help us spread awareness about opiate/heroin addiction. It is of vital importance to us that everyone understand our goals and beliefs. It is through awareness and education that we will accomplish change. So, with that being said, here is our mission statement and our beliefs. Our Mission Statement The mission of the Davis Direction Foundation is to serve as a role model in our community in order to become a national resource for Opiate/HEROIN ADDICTION awareness and change. We will strive to remove the outdated stigma of opiate addicts and innovatively revamp the rehabilitation process to appropriately address the disease of Opiate/Heroin Addiction as one of the most severe forms of addiction. Our Beliefs We believe that collectively we can make a difference. We believe that the optimal answer to opiate/heroin addiction is prevention. We believe that heroin causes one of the most severe forms of addiction. We believe that we must make heroin a public conversation in order to make a difference. We believe that the stigma of a HEROIN ADDICT and rehabilitation for them is outdated and needs to be changed. We believe that legislative changes need to be made in certain areas. We believe that addiction of all kinds is a disease. Our billboard campaign - Thanks to CBS OUTDOORS and FAIRWAY OUTDOORS who just recently joined us in our fight against opiate/heroin, has reached out to families all over Atlanta. Now we are trying to get outside of the Atlanta Area with our Billboards in order to spread our message. The Graphic art has been donated - thanks to Jason Gribble, of Formetco Inc., and is ready for anyone who can find donated space on a digital billboard in our Nation. One phone call is all I had to make and thanks to Doug Penner of CBS OUTDOORS, he had us up and running in a matter of hours. You can do the same. Look in your area for Billboard companies and MAKE IT HAPPEN! Message me or write in the comments below and I will send you the Billboard artwork for any company who is willing to donate space in order to create awareness for this horrific epidemic. Atlanta is saving lives because of the generous donation of Billboard space!!!
