Consumer Alert from the Idaho State Dept. of Agriculture: The week of July 14th half gallons of 1% milk were sold at the Reed’s Dairy store front at 2660 W Broadway, Idaho Falls. Test results have shown that the milk did not complete the pasteurization process. If you purchased 1% milk from Reed’s Dairy in half gallon containers the week of July 14th, officials from Reed’s Dairy and the Idaho State Department of Agriculture ask that you discontinue consumption of the product and return the unused portion to Reed’s Dairy Store for exchange or refund. Eligible 1% milk containers will have the code date 30 JUL printed near the bottom of the container.
