Consumerism is causing a society obsessed with having more, which puts parents back at work and children in child care earlier and earlier. Separation from those they instinctively want to trust most to look after them and teach them, then anxiety from multiple care givers creates a person with diminished capacity for empathy and difficulty with trust. Numerous studies have shown that when children are put into child care and away from parents in their early years those groups of children develop more aggressive tendencies! What kind of society are we creating for our future?! (Food for thought from a documentary on sociopathic behavioural studies)
