Since the bruise on my left eye got already better, Im currently stuck in this restaurant with grandpa. What are they taking so long?, I said to my grandpa. Patience Joon-Myeon, dont get too excited, youll see her pretty soon enough, grandpa calmly said. Who says Im excited to see that bird-brain fiancee of mine, I said. Joon-Myeon, watch were you saying. Ah there they are, grandpa said. I looked at the entrance door and saw an old man enter the restaurant. He walks towards our direction. Ah, Marco (a/n: sorry I dont know korean names) , Im sorry me and my grand daughter were late, the man said. Like my grandfather, this man is quite very young for him to be called a grandfather. Its ok George, grandpa said. So were is your beautiful grand daughter?, grandpa added. She will be here in a minute, the man said. Excuse me, why dont we take our seats first. Uh grandpa, may I excuse myself for a minute, I said. Sure Joon-Myeon, grandpa said. I went outside to get my phone in the car, then I saw a girl picking her things, that fell, on the ground. I helped her. When we both stood up, the girl still had her head down. Then she look at me. Wait she looks familiar, when did I saw her. While I was remembering these girl, I noticed her facial expression changed. You! What is an idiot doing in this kind of place!, she said, and pointed at me. Then I remembered her, she was the girl that punched me in the face. I should be asking that, what are you doing here peasant? And with those kind of dress huh, I said. Who are you calling peasant, you idiot? yourself? OMG your a peasant?, she said. What Im a peasant? With this handsome face and luxurious suit. How dare her. I was about to talk back when a man ( George ), butted in. Ah there you are _______, thean said. So both of you knew each othet already?, grandpa said We should talk this inside, the foods are getting colder, George said. I dont get it, I whispered. You still dont get it slowpoke? What an idiot, _______ said, or thats what I heard her name before. Who are you calling an idiot?, I said. I cant believe this. I wouldnt like to marry this idiotic man, she said. Like I would marry you. I would rather marry the girl that grandpa had arranged me to, I said. Damn you really are an idiot, she said. We quarelled more until we took our seat. But how come she is here in our table. What are you doing here in our table? My fiancee is coming and I dont want her to see an idiot like you, I said. Oh and grandpa, where is my fiancee?, I asked. Shes infront of you Joon-Myeon, grandpa said. You mean her!, I unconsciously screamed. Yes Joon-Myeon, that idiotic girl you said is your fiancee, grandpa said. I dont want to marry her, I said. Oh dear, tsk tsk tsk, like I would want to marry an idiotic slowpoke like you, she said. Why you!, I said. Why me? I should have punched you harder so your black eye would take long time to heal, and also to put some senses on you, she said. Im sorry to cut your conversation, but Marco and I have something to tell you, George said. Me and _______ are quiet for a moment. Its about your engagement tomorrow, grandpa said. What!, we shouted in chorus. Why that fast?, I said. Well, technically its not an engagement party,its just a small vacation in our private island, George said, and handed us an envelope. You two will have a vacation tomorrow, dont worry, there are things in the house located at the private island. You can go there tomorrow. By 7 am sharp, you must be at the airport, or else both of you will not get your inheritance, understood?, grandpa said. Silence filled the table. I hate this day, wrong term, I really hate this day.
