Continuing a long trend of demonstrating how little journalists understand about science, this article says basically nothing. When you increase testing for something, you will increase the number of diagnosed cases. Of anything. The increased number of thyroid cancer diagnoses is a symptom of the increased testing. Its quite likely many of these cases would have never shown symptoms and that treating them will actually *harm* the childrens health on net. But in any case, it says nothing about the number of additional cancers caused by Fukushima.
