The hotel was awarded a ISTUR gold certificate for successfully complying with the standards of the Hoteles Eficientes Sostenibles® (Sustainable Efficient Hotels) evaluation model. On Friday 22 August 2014, Jesús Felipe Gallego, President at ISTUR presented Fernando Gibaja, General Manager at Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa, with the certificate after the property successfully complied with the required criteria.
