Cooking: My anti-walfart campaign continues with you learning that it takes less time and effort to steam rice than it does to checkout at walfart. I cook with 3 different rices, each having different propreties. Basmati rice is the easiest and is what you get in most indian restaurants. When prepared, you can use water. but, my favorite method is to use stock, making it "rice pilaf". So, forget rice-a-roni. Make your own. With the stock you make ahead of time, you can have complicated things made simply and fast... Like pilaf with steamed veggies and chicken. THE SAME METHOD FOR STEAMING RICE IS USED TO STEAM VEGETABLES. m.youtube/watch?v=2pwMmaWsiDo&feature=related
