The COB programs and initiative are linked to a $200,000,000 savings goal. The COB team owns all aspects within a market to ensure financial goals are met. The COB team is responsible for the identification of members that have other coverage that can be coordinated. Our main goal is to maximize cost avoidance. Primary Responsibilities: Manage all aspects within a market to ensure financial goals are met Manage all daily activities of the Cost Avoidance staff and processes in accordance with applicable requirements and business unit initiatives, including task assignment, execution, documentation, review, distribution, follow up and reporting Oversee documentation and execution of business requirements Review department deliverables prior to distribution and provide staff with timely feedback to improve staff and department accuracy, efficiency and processes Develop, establish and follow a work priority plan to ensure that day-to-day processes as well as heavy workloads are fulfilled Represent department in IT and business initiatives Act as primary liaison with internal customers Act as primary liaison between department and internal and external vendors on issues related to Cost Avoidance activities Maintain interdepartmental relationships with all departments and Health Plans Conduct personnel duties in cooperation with the Director of Cost Avoidance and the Human Resource Department, including applicant interviews, recommendations for hiring/terminations, employee performance evaluations, manage paid time off (PTO) requests...
