Coppell JV update- last week they went to 3-0 with a 44-0 win. Matt was not able to get any momentum with 9 carries for 30 yards, 1 reception for 15 and a KO return for 30 and 0 TDs. That broke a streak of 6 consecutive games with over 150 yds and 2 TDs. This week the tables were turned and they suffered their first loss of the year 35-6. A disappointing loss. Matt got back on track with 217 yards on 16 carries and 1 TD. he also completed his first pass for 8 yds on the option. He actually threw and completed a pass last year on the option however the other team caught it! :) Next week they play Allen HS which has one of the best programs in the country. Huge school with over 700 kids in the band!!!
