Corporate Fast Day 7: Sunday, January 19th Read: Isaiah 58:1, John 7, Matthew 9-13 Focus: Isaiah 58:1, “Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my people their rebellion and to the descendants of Jacob their sins.” (NIV) Whoa, wait a minute! This isn’t about shouting to outside the Body of Christ about their sin...some of us are pretty good at that. This is about in-house business -- our rebellion, our sin, and not ignoring it. We can’t be world changers, we can’t have what promises are coming up later in this chapter if we won’t deal with what is in our own lives. Check your own mirror first. Where have you compromised? What area of your life is not under the full Lordship of Jesus? This is hard, but this is worth it.
