Costa Rica vs Greece, Recife, Arena Pernambuco It is not regarded as one of the big second round games and more than likely it will not be one of the most remembered games of this world cup but what can these teams offer? Costa Rica have not held a great deal of the ball with 44% their highest (against Uruguay). That said they will be looking to Junior Diaz to supply the ball into the box as much as possible. Joel Campbell would be another to watch but did not pose much of a threat in the last game and was taken off. Greece, on the other hand, is likely to play defensive capitalizing on occasional chances. Can Samaras score again or will he go another 24 hours before scoring again? This is the first time these teams have met and most of the footballing world would have ruled both these teams out of reaching this stage and maybe in a strange way it is good one of them will not be going any further. That being said, Costa Rica have proved to be favorite under dog in this competition, which must be put down to playing decent football. Greece have experience of winning a major competition scoring few goals and defending well. This game will be interesting at the very least and I wont place any bets on a goal fest!
