Costco checkout line on 12/23 with two screaming kids - basically the scene from a nightmare. I was about to be the next one in tears but instead, I started singing Jingle Bells. LOUDLY. First people stared. Then some smiled. Then some started singing along. :) By the time we reached the cashier we had 3 aisles singing, including my kids. Lots of annoyed faces were now smiling. The cashier said we made her day and that she wished she got to spend the day with her kids instead of having to work. Excellent perspective for a time when mine were driving me nuts! The best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear!!! My Christmas Spirit is renewed. 🎄🎄🎄
