Course and Faculty Reps act as the link between students and their academic staff, making sure issues are solved and the students voice is being heard on their learning experience. - Academic Reps receive free training from the Student’s Union and gain professional experience which looks great on your CV and helps your job applications stand out from the crowd. - The training and work you do as an Academic Rep counts towards your Red Award and also opens up paid opportunities such as Periodic Review and Scrutiny Panels, paying up to £450. - Most importantly it’s a great chance to meet students on your course and to build friendships with people from across your Faculty.
