Crackdown on HCJK continues, Bita Karatey arrested Srinagar, Dec 3: Expressing serious resentment over the arrest of JKLF-R chairman and Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir senior leader Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bita Karatey, the spokesperson of HCJK said we will continue our resistance movement despite highhandedness of authorities. Taking strong notice of the nocturnal raids across the valley and arrest of youth, the spokesperson said the people should differentiate between their friends and foes and should not become part of any such activity that proves detrimental to the freedom movement. “It seems tha government has declared a war upon people. They have unleashed a reign of terror across the valley and are violating every norms of democracy,” he said. The spokesperson applauded the valour and steadfastness of Farooq Ahmad Dar and other pro-freedom leaders who are languishing in jails including Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Moulana Abdullah Taari, Shabir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Muhammad Yasin Ataai, Waheed Ahmad, Bilal Ahmad, Zameer Ahmad and others. He also thanked the people of Kunan Poshpora and Kulgam for boycotting the sham elections and appealed people to exhibit their commitment towards the freedom movement and revere the sacrifices of martyrs. The spokesperson also reiterated the shutdown call for December 8 against the proposed visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. #ysrysf
