Crazy nice weather here in NY...last evening it actually felt like fall...Most of the material is written for my new record. Time is flying by! I was hoping to have it finished to release before the next TSO tour. As we approach August in a couple days, I may just be able to have a couple songs finished or an EP. During my off time this year I took on a lot of other performances that have definitely chewed into the time I needed to finish 10 songs! Once again Im doing a lot of the work myself so my personal work load for ten tunes is a lot more than just ten guitar tracks! Heres a tune for Tuesday off of my Faces Cd. I wrote the music for Abandoned hoping it would be considered for a Savatage follow up to Poets and Madmen. When the Savatage activity stopped I was basically alone in the place that Savatage used to live, work, record and rehearse for records and tours. I wasnt really sure where I was going personally or musically at the time. I was definitely missing my band and the fans! I just kept writing and started singing. During this time I finished about 70 songs. This song in particular was a big reason why Black Lotus Records signed me to record the Faces cd. youtube/watch?v=DihhGk-AOF4
