Create a mind map of the abstract for the article. I dont care that youre not a visual person and that this is going to cause you ridiculous amounts of stress, because I read in a book somewhere that mind maps are great. Sure, that book was some sort of pop-psych bullshit from the 80s about how to dominate in the boardroom, but its totally going to be an important skill for you to learn. I also dont care that you have never seen the software that I expect you to use to do this, and that unfamiliar computer environments cause you to panic and start doubting everything that youre writing because at heart you believe that youre stupid and wrong. And hey.. doing this wont teach you anything that you need to know. It wont even let me be able to accurately assess whether youre learning the course material because it has nothing to do with it. But it will give me something that is easy for me to mark so that I can put a value on how well you are completing meaningless tasks that are taking away time that you could be spending on actual course work. And look at the pretty green bubbles.
