Cried a bunch last night about the death of my beautiful friend, singer Annie Hounchell Harvey. Found out only yesterday she lost her battle with ovarian cancer. I hate this disease and how it robs beautiful people of their lives - I cry tonight for those who fight this scourge with me and those who have lost the fight: Loren Nancarrow, Nick Curran, Heather Macallister, Bobbi Brat, Chris Gaffney, Robin Rogers, Ann Rabson, Dana Seguin, - my soldiers in solidarity Jan Naritomi Hart, Charlotte Tallas, Margaret Moser, Amanda Rush, Kid Ramos, Don Hackler, Bill Wax. I know there millions I forgot and more I dont know about. Who have you lost? I know there are those who survive this beast but all of us want to be a survivor. Bothers me that children get cancer - and that it is such big business. And that it robs vital people of their essence too soon.
