Curious if you have ever had sleep paralysis and what you experienced during it. I Had an interesting experience this morning - this is only the second time I have experienced sleep paralysis....the last time I was 15. After waking up this morning while my friend got ready for work, I was still tired so I lied back down when he left. While heading off to dreamland an hour or so later, I heard him or what I thought was him come in the house as I heard the front door shut and then I heard him open the bedroom door and walk in, but I couldnt open my eyes or move a muscle even though I was awake and aware he was there. So for a minute I panicked because I couldnt move and there was the sound of movement around me...but then I realized that I was in sleep paralysis mode...since I couldnt even open my eyes, I just kept saying in my head that it would pass and to chill out, so I did. Couldnt do much else so I figured Id just flow with it. It did end up passing and when I was able to open my eyes and move no one was there. And later found out he had not come home. So I did a little googling on the subject, as I have heard of other people having this experience and seeing black figures and other weird supernatural things...Most folklore is pretty negative concerning it but I didnt really get scared, it was more annoying than anything.
