Current state of mind- Running my 7th half marathon this weekend in the city where it started, SF, alongside 20,000 beautiful, strong women (& maybe a few men). I run to remind myself that I CAN accomplish anything I set my mind to, even with roadblocks in the way. I run for myself (foremost), God, my mother and those suffering from critical illnesses. The Nike Womens Half Marathon supports the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a cause that hits close to home. Please let me know if there is anyone that I can remember or honor during my run.
