Currently we are working as project managers for the India leg of the international production of Nirbhaya. The project was initiated by Poorna Jagannathan in response to the terrible incident of the Delhi Rape and Murder Case of 16 Dec 2013. The play hope to breaks the silence surrounding the violence against women and the social conditions that engender this. Along with highlighting the story of Jyoti Singh Pandey, the play also includes personal testimonies by the performers. Testimonies of gender based violence and abuse, of pain, of survival and of inspiration. All this is being woven together by acclaimed award winning South African writer and director Yael Farber. Assembly Theatre Ltd (UK) have come on board as the producers and are premièring the show for a whole month as part of the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013 which takes place in the month of August. Prior to that, there is a limited engagement of 6 preview performances in London at the Riverside Studios.
