D&w airflow of covington ga installed a brand new heat pump air handler, due to the constant complaint that my unit was not properly installed and their refusal to come service the unit, had a year warranty they refused, I then had the air guy Rutledge GA. and he again failed to correctly service the unit and overcharged and lied and again refused to honor his year warranty so beware of these two air condition companies , they are defintilely not qualified and will not honor their warranty, I then got Air Max of Covington GA phone number 770 788 3005 and within minutes Anthony the tech they sent found the issue with the unit, Seems D&w did not install the plug for the drain system and it let water leak into the unit thus shorting out the board and knocking out the blower, the air guy ordred two new boards and airblowers and made me think I had to match the unit outside to correct the problem and of course that not being the problem paid well over two thousand for a unit I did not need and then his wife was very rude to me and refused to come find the problem with the unit . So beware of those two con companies and call airMax of Covington should you need a good honest and dependable trustworthy company, yes I have paper work to document the statements made . That was a fifty cent plug left out that casued me to lose use of my unit for days and made to purchase a unit that I did not need . I signed a year maintance contract with Airmax to assure me my unit would be kept in repairs and not have to suffer in heat till I could find someone to come repair the improper installed air handler by the other two companies, will file complaints with better business bureau on the two companies.
