DAD REPORT Another little glimmer of hope here tonight - dad is conscious and responding when we talk to him. He nods, or squeezes my hand to talk. He is on life support keeping him alive but his white blood count is coming down a little, showing his infections are clearing up. He is on a permanent dialysis - a very low one to see if he can get his kidneys to work and clear the fluids. He is listening carefully to everyone and he is resting in between. Its one small small step at a time. Life is precious. Every moment is a chance to care and to love. When I told dad to sleep and I would take care of mom he picked up my hand and squeezed tight. In that one squeeze he told me everything. Keep the Reiki coming, the prayers and the light. Believe dad will heal and get better because his time here is not done yet.
