DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: TUESDAY 4TH MARCH,2014 PT1 TOPIC:FAMILY HERITAGE TEXT: DEUT.6:7 And thou shall teach them dilligently to your children and thou shall talk of them when thou Sittest in thine house and when thou walkest in by the way and when thou liest down and when thou risest up Every family that understand good heritage will know that leaving a lasting legacies for their children is a commitment & investment of note in the children God has put us in charge to look after. people that matter in the society ask them, their parent or grand parent build a legacy and lead into an heritage that is though abstract but yet incorruptible. Those heritage are itemised below: 1. FAMILY ALTAR-every religious family make it a point of duty to gather every members of the family together at a particular hour of the day to worship God and pray together. either in the night/morning or both. family that prays together stay together. Children that grow in such environment are more likely to find the path & course that lead to great feat in life. men and women that make indellible mark in bible days even toady was one time while they are growing exposed to Gods factor & values. 2. MORAL STANDARD- Apart from exposing them to God. the work of parenting since the day of old testament has been viewed as a ministry. every society has as acceptable standard of behaviour with which everybody will live peaceably. It is the duty of the parent to groom their young ones before they get to the larger society. I dont buy into the idea of pampering your children to the extent indulgence & overprotection. Morals in the society became of the building blocks of of charater. 3. EXCELLENT ATTITUDE- it is this kind of attitude that put us ahead in typical society where corruption &perversion is the order of the day .Samuel a little boy in the midst of corruption and moral devaluation With the 2 spoilt child of Eli was still able to succeed without been influenced. he was working on the heritage he had received from home. pt 3 loading............., shalom. PRAYERS Oh Lord loose every home under the grip of the enemy. Release the yoke breaking annointing on every home operating under the spell of the wicked ones. IJN. Amen.
