DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE (ENCOUNTERING THE MYSTERIES OF CHRIST) THURSDAY 15th JAN, 2015. THEME: YOU ARE LOADED MEMORY VERSE: 2 PETER 1:3 According to his divine power HAS GIVEN to us ALL things that pertains to life and godliness,through the KNOWLEDGE of him who called us by glory and virtue. There are so many who feel so worthless and hopeless in life,they have struggled in life and have now come to a conclusion that,life is a battle. Beloved, life can be enjoyable when you are in CHRIST. Christianity isnt a matter of just getting born again and dying poor and moving back to heaven. You are AN Ambassador on the earth to showcase who your dad is,and to manifest his glory to all flesh. You are the address of God,you carry a whole God inside of you,boi u be too much. Our opening scripture gives us a beautiful truth. It says God has given (check the tense, he has already given,and not about to) us ALL THINGS(not some) that pertains to life and godliness. Wow, my question to you is,what pertains to your life? Is your family, job,marriage, schooling etc part of your life,if Yes then i have good news for you, YOU ARE LOADED. BUT MAN OF GOD,AM STRUGGLING WITH LIFE,WHY AM I NOT SEEING THESE THINGS, MY MARRIAGE IS EVEN DELAYING,CAN THIS WORD BE TRUE? It is really true,my dear. The spirit of man is the unseen part of man that cannot be touched by anything physical. You got to have the root of spiritual blessings to get them into the physical. Your prosperity in life is primarily tied to the prosperity of your soul. Your spirit knows it cant be poor,sick, or be a failure because it was recreated with the word, but your soul (mind) is more quarantined to the experiences and ordinances of men,touch not,taste not,eat not. You see, Paul said in Romans 12:2 for the believer to get a renewal of mind,not only because of sin, but in order for your thoughts to align to what your spirit believes in the word of God. To renew your mind means, to take our thoughts and exchange them for Gods thoughts. Everything we need in our lives is already available to us in our recreated spirits. We possess the power of God within us. Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Can you see that,God ordained it before you were even born for you to walk in them. BUT HOW DO I WALK IN IT? CHANGE YOUR MINDSET: You can make it in life no matter the family you were born into, or the village you come from. The word of God is the mirror into the spirit realm,we see our spiritual blessings through the mirror of the word. Go into the word and find out what God has said concerning the situation,and meditate on them. All your words,thoughts and actions should be dictated by the principles of he word of God. Getting your mind to come into agreement with your born again spirit and the word of God is the first step and faith takes possesion of them from the spiritual to the physical. When your soul aligns itself to the spirit by heeding to the dictates of the word, circumstances have no choice but to change. Do you want to offload some of the load in you (the job,marriage,good health etc): then beloved, GO FOR THE WORD AND TAKE IT BY FAITH.
