DAILY REMINDER 1: Take Allahs commands seriously. And [recall] when Moses said to his people, Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow. They said, Do you take us in ridicule? He said, I seek refuge in Allah that I should be among those who loose their emotional control {2:67} Explanation: Mosa (A.S) gave bani israeel Allahs msg to slaughter a cow and their response was are you kidding us?! But whether that makes logical sense to you or not, its Gods command. And still there are people (Muslims) who hear an instruction clearly from Allah and His messenger, and their reaction is, You cant be serious, thats what the ayat/hadith says?! This thing is not for me. I am jot this type etc This kinda reaction made Moosa (A.S) extremely upset, so in the same ayah, he said, I seek Allahs refuge that I should be among those who loose their emotional control. Jaahil is opposite of aaqil which means having firm control over emotions. So this ayah isnt just a warning to those who make mockery out of Allahs commandments but to those too who deliver Allahs msg. When they say something thats Allahs msg and they are somehow mocked, they shouldnt loose their cool bcs moosa (A.S) immediately seek Allahs refuge from loosing his temperament bcs then he wouldnt be able to do his job. So: _Never make fun of Allahs commandments. _when you do give advice to each other and hear in appropriate response, you need to control ur emotions and temper.
