This is worth a click and a pound! :-) Ten years ago Wayne Ingram of United Service Lodge was a soldier serving in Bosnia. He had the opportunity to help a young boy, Stefan, with life threatening severe facial deformity. Wayne has fundraised to raise the money to pay for a series of extremely complex operations to transform and save his life. In 2003 Stefan had several operations at Great Ormond Street Hospital and in May 2014 returned for his penultimate operation to correct his nose. All arranged after extensive fundraising. Stefan will return to the UK in 2017 to finally correct his teeth but the money for this has already been raised. In May 2015, Wayne will spend 7 days and nights surviving in a life raft in Portland Harbour with all the money raised being given to Great Ormond Street Families Centre. Its his way of saying thank you for the tireless efforts they have given Stefan and other children over many years. Wayne would like to ask everyone reading this to donate £1 towards this challenge.
