DALE Kathleen Ruth (nee Haser), 66, died July 2nd, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 15, 1948 at St. Marys Hospital in Passaic. A loving, dedicated and cherished Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Aunt, Friend and Teacher, Kathleen loved to laugh, to sing, to cook and to dance. She loved her students, computers, science and technology. She was fascinated with nature and the miracle of life, often sitting outside for hours to keep her daily appointments with the newborn fawns that wandered into her yard each spring. But, most of all Kathleen loved her family. Most important of all she said, is your commitment to your family and what kind of a person you are with other people. Kathleen was a courageous soul who stood as a pinnacle of strength and dignity. She taught many different subjects and grade levels in a career that spanned four decades in Prospect Park School No. 1 and earned her Masters Degree in Education, focusing on computer science and information technology, from William Paterson at nearly Sixty years of age. Her memory and her legacy of both education and of loving kindness will live on for generations to come.
