DANTSOHO STATUS: IN CASE YOU MISSED. Happy New Having critically assimilated and paraphrased this allegation, I deem it fit, I share the experiences with the general Public for them too, and to know the status quo of the emerged APC Jalingo I constituency aspirant to the Taraba state house of assembly to hear your views based on what you will read about the candidate. Can APC Taraba State allow Dantsoho Nura to continue like that? Can the APC Taraba State find a lasting solution to the problem? Can the APC Taraba State allow their mandate be to taken by other parties? Can APC Taraba State allow INEC disqualify their candidate? Can INEC also allow the unqualified candidate to participate in the general election?, as per a portion in INEC form CF001? which stated categorically clear in item (viii) if a person is employed in the public service and does not resign, withdraw or retire at least 30 days to the election; INEC also advice candidate in item ( xi) not to present a forged certificate to the electoral body; (see sections 66, 107, 137 & 182 of the Electoral Act, 2006). INEC also said that Any person who has reasonable grounds to believe that any information given by any candidate is false or that the candidate is not qualified or is disqualified from contesting the elections should notify the Commission within time. INEC also draw the attention of parties and their candidates to section 32 of the Electoral Act, 2006 which disqualifies any candidate who provides false information in his/her affidavit (Form CF 001) from contesting elections. A political party which presents such a candidate is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine up to N500,000: 00. These and among other questions that came to my mind, when I first read the letter.
