Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Port Glasgow at short notice. An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed. Train services from Glasgow Central to Gourock will terminate at Port Glasgow and train services from Gourock to Glasgow Central will start at Port Glasgow. Buses will operate between Port Glasgow and Gourock in both directions, journey times will be extended therefore any onward train/boat connections cannot be guaranteed.
