DATER v. PLAYER - It has been brought to my attention that there are people in my life spreading rumors about me being a player. This is very hurtful to me. Those of you that know me very well know that I am very genuine and have probably one of the biggest hearts of anybody. I am in a dedicated search for my eternal companion to be in my life. As soon as I can get her (sorry to let you down Patrick McKinley, Patrick White, and Brian Tomecek but yes, I want a her) I will be gladly fleeing the singles scene. To me, a player is someone that breaks hearts intentionally. I am the farthest thing from a player; I am however a DATER. What you can take from that is that I am trying hard to find someone to connect with on a deeper level than just your common day to day interactions. This takes dating, and for me, dating a lot. I recently ended a potential relationship that was very dear to me. Sad to now learn and to announce that its very much due to the above mentioned rumors she was too scared to commit to me. Please stop the gossip; it is hurtful. Follow the words of the leaders of our church and just STOP IT. I know this is a deep post for me and I never air my dirty laundry like this on FB, but I am hurting, hurting because some of you out there are acting as my friends but are clearly saying things that are far from true about me. And worse yet, you know it isnt true. I love people. I love giving service to them; interacting with them; having them in my life. In particular, I love women, and I would hate to think I had hurt any womans heart -- but I want just one -- I just need to find her, and I will keep looking hard until I do. For those of you that have been wonderfully supportive of me in my journey, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you, and I pray God blesses you.
