DAY 10 - THE JOURNEY CONTINUES: JANUARY 10th, 2015 No hunger whatsoever. Once you get passed the 6th day it was like my body finally started burning my storage fat. LOL! In my case at 3000 calories per day I have enough storage to actually feed my body for over 160 days. I was asked to pray with a person yesterday. My first thought was, “what if it doesnt work’? The Holy Spirit spoke in my heart, “it is not your word on the line”! “Your pride and ego is in the way”! Then He gave me theses Scriptures: Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. Deuteronomy 1:29-33 Then I said to you, Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place. Yet, for all that, you did not believe the LORD your God, who went in the way before you to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, to show you the way you should go, in the fire by night and in the cloud by day. Proverbs 29:23 A mans pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor. James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. 1 Peter 5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
