DAY ONE...Thanks James Pustorino for inviting me to the artist challenge... Im posting 2 oil paintings from about 2006-ish and the watercolors I was working from. While the paintings are certainly not carbon copies of the watercolors, it was interesting to me to look back and see how much more I was relying on specific imagery as source material then.... I still do watercolors, usually in the woods, or take blurry photos and they are great to have around to study line quality or motion but the process is much looser. Oh, Id like to nominate Chris Arabadjis (hope its okay, not sure if youve done this already..)
