DC, Ang reviews Muharram arrangements ANANTNAG, OCTOBER 18- District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Mr. Tasaduk Jilani today reviewed Muharram arrangements being made in district Anantnag at a joint meeting of officers and the representatives of the various Shia representatives. After threadbare discussion, the DDC on the occasion enjoined upon the officers to ensure all arrangements with regard to uninterrupted electricity supply, drinking water, provision of essential commodities, besides sanitation, transport, medicare facilities. He asked forest officers to make available adequate quantity of firewood, particularly in Shia dominated areas of the district during the holy days of Muharram. He asked for ensuring cleanliness around all the Imam Barras and those places where processions are expected so that the mourners do not face any inconvenience. Among others, the meeting was attended by SP Anantnag, Engineers of PHE, PDD, R&B and other senior officers of district administration.
